Electroplating is a common surface treatment process, through the metal surface coated with a layer of metal or non-metal coating, to improve the corrosion resistance, electrical conductivity, gloss and other properties of the material. The production process of electroplating equipment mainly includes pre-treatment, electroplating, post-treatment and other links.

First of all, the pre-treatment process is a crucial part of the production of electroplating equipment, which includes surface cleaning, oil removal, rust removal and other steps. Before electroplating, it is necessary to clean the metal parts to be treated to remove the oil and impurities on the surface, usually using chemical solutions or mechanical equipment for cleaning. Then, the oxides and rust layers on the metal surface are removed by pickling or alkali washing to ensure that the surface finish and roughness meet the requirements of electroplating.

Followed by the plating process, the main is to place the pre-treated metal parts into the plating tank, and deposit a layer of metal or non-metal film on the metal surface through the action of current. During the plating process, parameters such as current density, composition and temperature of the plating solution need to be controlled to ensure the quality and uniformity of the film. Common electroplating methods include nickel plating, chromium plating, zinc plating, etc. Different electroplating methods are suitable for different metal materials and requirements.

Finally, the post-treatment process is mainly for polishing, drying, curing and other processing of the metal parts completed by electroplating. After electroplating is completed, the thin layer of metal needs to be polished to improve the surface gloss and smoothness. Then, by drying or curing, the thin metal layer is closely combined with the substrate to improve the strength and corrosion resistance of the coating.

In general, the production process of electroplating equipment includes pre-treatment, electroplating, post-treatment and other links, and it is necessary to strictly control the process parameters to ensure the quality and effect of electroplating. Through the electroplating process, it can provide excellent surface properties for metal parts, extend their service life, and is widely used in automotive, electronics, home appliances and other industries.
